British perfumer Lyn Harris trained in Paris and Grasse before embarking on her career working with many acclaimed brands as well as founding Perfumer H in 2015. Relentless in her pursuit to create beautiful, unconventional fragrances that resonate life, Harris’ eponymous label reflects her own personal style and offers an insight into her unique craft and olfactory journey.
How did you discover Less?
Lyn Harris: “It was through one of my retailers. She couldn’t stop telling me about Less and how amazed she was at her skin and how it looked and felt. What immediately struck me about Less was how different it was: how simple, true and honest. And it makes so much sense: why am I putting cream after cream on my skin to not see much of a difference except a very shiny face? So I tried Less to find after a month using my skin felt balanced, normal and content for the first time since I was a young girl.”

What is your Less routine?
“I use the Less Cleansing Clay twice a week as a mask where I leave it on for 5 minutes and then rinse with water. Every other night I do use a sprinkling of the clay and wash my face with it. I massage in the Less Face Oil Plus with water morning and night all over my face and neck. I use my foundation as usual on top and sunscreen when I’m under the sun, but these are the only other items I use.”

What was the biggest difference you noticed after using Less?
“I’ve been using eye cream for 30 years and it made no difference, I still had dark circles under my eyes. After using Less for a month, the dark circles were gone. I couldn't believe it. My skin feels wonderful and radiant, my pores are clean and I feel more balanced and less cluttered. I love the clay and the face oil, I think they are genius.”
