Cell regenerating and wound healing. What is unique about avocado oil is its exceptionally high content of unsaponifiable components such as phytosterols, squalane and vitamins A, D and E. Unsaponifiable components are substances that do not dissolve in water. The higher the percentage of unsaponifiable components the better the oil binds with the natural lipid film of the skin. A skin care with avocado oil strengthens the barrier properties of the skin, increases the collagen synthesis and accelerates the wound healing process. Unsaponifiable components are only found in cold-pressed and virgin avocado oil. "Cold-pressed" means that the oil is pressed purely mechanically and without additional heat. "Virgin" means that the oil has not been further processed. High-quality cold-pressed and virgin avocado oil can be identified by its cloudy color and nutty-earthy smell. At Less we only use cold-pressed and extra virgin organic oils.
High skin compatibility and "slide rail effect". Avocado oil is one of the few vegetable oils that are not extracted from the kernel or seeds, but from the pulp. Avocado oil is rich in fatty acids which make it very compatible with sensitive and damaged skin. It is quickly absorbed into the skin and with its "slide-rail effect" it also helps the active ingredients of the other ingredients to penetrate the skin.
Effective treatment of dry and damaged skin. Avocado oil is a precious and in its efficacy unique natural ingredient, which has been used for centuries specifically for the care of dry and barrier-damaged skin. When used only sparingly, it is also a real treat for combination and normal skin. Cold-pressed, virgin avocado oil is a central component of our award-winning Less Face Oil for Dry Skin. The intelligent combination of avocado oil with other pure plant oils results in a powerful skin care product that regenerates cells, heals damaged areas and provides the skin with rich nutrients and moisture. The result is soft, velvety and long-term healthy skin.
